Pasadena
Presbyterian Church
The Global Mission Committee exists to shepherd PPCs ministry in the areas of evangelism, justice, and all aspects of mission to Gods people beyond the bounds of the church. By evangelism, we mean the intentional fulfillment of Jesus Great Commission, to make disciples of all people for Christ. We affirm the relevance of this Commission to our mission in Pasadena, in the San Gabriel Valley, in the United States, and across the world; we recognize that God calls us to active ministry in all of these venues. We further affirm that until there is justice for all of Gods people, the church as the Body of Christ is called to work tirelessly for the healing of injustice and the restoration of right relationships between all persons and social structures. We finally affirm that our call to ministry through mission
involves more than money, requiring the engagement of our whole selves -- hearts, minds,
and hands -- in mission to Gods people.

PPC supports Presbyterian missionaries and mission projects locally, nationally and internationally, through our prayers, our stewardship pledges and our special offerings and fund raising. We strive to create and sustain the same spirit as the churches of Macedonia who "voluntarily gave according to their means and even beyond their means" (II Corinthians 8:3). PPC maintains relationships with two Personal Interest Missionary families. Click on a name below for more information about those missionaries. PPC's Personal Interest Missionaries
