The groups provide a forum for discussion of the observation of the season of Lent and a time to deepen the spiritual journey in preparation for Easter. Study materials are selected and made available for nominal purchase by the Spiritual Nurture Committee. Participants meet on Sunday afternoons or evening, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday nights for 10 weeks beginning mid-March and continuing through mid-May. Most meetings are in homes. Group members often agree to continue to meet beyond this period, and form lasting friendships and ongoing covenant groups.
