Worship Services
We at PPC glorify God through accessible, inclusive, participatory
worship which inspires, challenges, instructs, heals and nurtures. Each Sunday, PPC
members come together for worship in three languages -- English, Korean, and
Spanish.

10:00 a.m. - TRADITIONAL ENGLISH WORSHIP SERVICE IN THE
SANCTUARY
We invite all ages - adults, youth and children - to join us in the worship and
celebration of God, which includes participatory liturgy, challenging preaching and
exceptional music by the Kirk Choir,
soloists and organ.. Nursery care for infants and
toddlers is available in Parish House 101; we welcome children to worship,
and invite children grades K - 5 to Sunday Morning LIVE
10:00 a.m. - HOGAR CRISTIANO SPANISH LANGUAGE WORSHIP IN
FELLOWSHIP HALL
The Reverend Luis Madrigal conducts a worship service for those more
comfortable
sharing their faith, praise and warm fellowship in the Spanish language.
12:00 noon - KOREAN WORSHIP SERVICE IN
THE SANCTUARY
The Reverend Hyun Sung conducts a Korean language service for our members
and friends who are Korean Christians. Choir, organ and a praise team
enhance
these vibrant worship experiences.
SACRAMENT OF THE LORD'S SUPPER
Members, as well as visitors who profess faith in Jesus Christ, are invited to
celebrate
the Lord's Supper.
FESTIVAL & SPECIAL WORSHIP
We celebrate Festival Sundays and the Liturgical Seasons of the Christian Year
with special music and liturgy, dance and drama, and occasional multicultural services,
including:
Ash Wednesday Agape Meal & Liturgy
Maundy Thursday Communion Worship
Easter Festival Services
Christmas Eve afternoon Family Worship
Christmas Eve 9 p.m. Worship Service
ECUMENICAL SERVICES
Ministerial and music staff from PPC often participate in Community Interfaith Services on
Thanksgiving Day and Good Friday, sponsored by the Ecumenical Council of Pasadena Area
Churches.
WORSHIP ASSISTANCE ITEMS
Hearing devices; large print worship bulletins, copies of hymns, and
Bibles; and lap blankets are available in the sanctuary.
Worship ClipBoards are provided for children.
Speakers above the sanctuary patio door broadcast the service to
worshipers outside - such as parents with crying babies.
