Christmastime at PPC  
Celebrate the
Holiday Season

SATURDAY,  DECEMBER 3
CAROLS, COOKIES AND COCOA
2:00 p.m.
Come celebrate the customs of Christmas at PPC.  Children (and the young at heart) are invited  to Fellowship Hall for a light lunch and to create crafts for the holidays (snowmen and ornaments) while we sing carols, sip cocoa and eat cookies. 

SUNDAY,  DECEMBER 4
ALTERNATIVE GIFT MARKET
11:00 a.m.
A great way to provide meaningful holiday gifts and support numerous worthy
causes locally and around the world.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10
 CANDLELIGHT AND CAROLS
7:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary
FREE ADMISSION — invite your friends!
All choirs, instruments and organ will participate in the 66th edition of this annual Pasadena and PPC holiday tradition, which will also include plenty of audience caroling. The featured work will be Veni Emmanuel by Elizabeth Sellers.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 18
 LESSONS AND CAROLS
10:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary
English-language worship in the sanctuary features this traditional telling of the Advent and Christmas story using a blend of scripture and music.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS
10:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall
 Our annual celebration for children of the community will be held. 
"Elves" are needed on Friday, December 17, beginning at 11:00 a.m. to help wrap toys for the children.  Sign up after worship or call the church office if you can help.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 24
CHRISTMAS EVE
4:00 p.m. - Family Christmas Eve Worship
                         A kid-friendly service featuring the children of PPC in music and
                         in pageant.
9:00 p.m. -  Candlelight Communion Service
                          Music by the Kirk Choir and Van Etten Handbell Choir.
                          Dr. Mark Smutny is preaching.

 SUNDAY, DECEMBER 25
CHRISTMAS DAY WORSHIP
10:00 a.m. -  Celebrate the birthday of the Christ child on this holiest of days.  There will be plenty of congregational Christmas caroling.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 1
NEW YEAR’S DAY
10:00 a.m. - Join in a special service to welcome the new year.

MONDAY, JANUARY 2
 ROSE PARADE
Grandstand seats for the 2012 Rose Parade are now available. Tickets are $45.00 for PPC members and families and $65.00 for non-members. Each ticket includes one grandstand seat and one continental breakfast. Parking is available for $20.00 per car and $50.00 per RV.
